Ethan Jin

With a USATT rating over 2200, Ethan has been making a name for himself nationally as a top junior player. He has been a member of the 2011 USA Cadet and Pan American teams. As a coach, Ethan brings the same work ethic and knowledge of table tennis to AGTTA. Demanding multi-ball drills and playing with maximum spin are the standard for players who train with our youngest volunteer coach.

 
 

 Stan Talifero

Training with Stan is always fun, as he brings his high energy personality and sense of humor to group or individual training. Combined with years of professional coaching experience, Stan is a huge asset to the AGTTA coaching program. Drills emphasizing loops and ball placement are always part of training sessions with Stan Talifero. stan_tali@yahoo.com

Juan Wandurraga

As a volunteer coach, Juan designs workouts emphasizing practical drills to improve consistency, shot selection, and footwork. Juan has the unique ability to give personal attention and help players learn the fundamentals. 

 

Michael Levene

Michael Levene has more than 30 years of playing experience. In addition to having been ranked as high as 56th among men in England, Michael has trained with some of the top rated players in Europe. More important than Michael’s numerous achievements, he truly has a passion for teaching table tennis. Training with Michael involves advanced multi-ball drills and detailed attention to correct technique.

 

NJ Ozumba

NJ is one of the top players at AGTTA and among the best in Georgia. His contribution is the ability to teach and demonstrate high level shots. Training with NJ allows players to learn advanced strategies for playing either offense or defense and train at an increased pace against a variety of spins.   

  
 

Jon Gustavson

Jon Gustavson is a USATT certified club level coach. Group classes emphasize correct stroke technique, serves, and basic multi-ball drills. Jon can also provide detailed information on specialty equipment, including pips out and anti-spin rubber, hard bat rackets, and strategies for their use as well as how to play against them.

 

Jie Chang

Coach Chang has been volunteering his time and experience to the AGTTA coaching program for many years. He is able to work with beginner players as well as the most advanced. Group lessons introduce players to proper technique and footwork. Coach Chang is a USATT certified state level coach and an excellent player with a USATT best rating over 2000.
